While more transgender people are more visible these days, about less than 1% of people identify as transgender. But, about 5-10% of people identify as Gay, Lesbian, and Bi? Sure it's not more of a legal issue and fear of getting raided? A little over a decade ago in Louisville, there were "adult" ordinances put in place (though not sure if that ever got considered as unconstitutional).
