I didn't know much about how you get it & how you can get treated...etc until I got it (caught it) 2 yrs ago. I went through 6 more months of blood check after the completion of drug treatment and the doctor concluded that I don't carry the virus anymore!! Wow! The treatment reversed the disease completely! I used to think hep C would be one of the deadliest & incurable diseases among STD(STI)'s but I proved it wrong if you do it right with the professionals. So I encourage you to be well informed with hep C and discipline enough to take charge with checking up often and be responsible to yourself.
You can always have a way to change the course if you act & react quickly.
