You Site Suggestions

There have many threads about how the new site is hated. I understand them. Please use this thread to give us suggestions on things you would like to see changed and added to the site. List them in order and give us enough detail to understand what you are looking for. We have always listened to members and will try as fast as we can to make the site more user friendly and faster. Whenever you change from one code base to another one, there will always be issues. Let us know specifically what they are and we will work on them. Use this thread to make those suggestions. Use it to suggest things you would like us to work on in the near future.

Our first priority is to get the site working properly for all members and the site optomized for speed. Once we get all the bugs worked out (and we will) we will work to make the site even better than ever.

I miss that I can't look by location and positon for members. For me I think that this site must prove itself before I'm willing to become a paying member. But it is very difficult to see how many members have come back.

I am abstaining from upgrading until this site offers everything the old one did: viewing ALL the pics, searching for zips.

I've submitted my city name to be added to the list TWICE to no avail.

This USED TO BE a great site--it is really awful now tha it has been "improved"

Viewing all the pics is not going t happen. All adult pics are only viewed by those with CC on file. But, the zip code and distance searches are coming back and better than before. We are also adding video chat to the site. We have many improvements that we want to make but we need to get the site fully stable first. That is not an easy task with so many members and so many things we offer on the site.

Viewing all the pics is not going t happen. All adult pics are only viewed by those with CC on file. But, the zip code and distance searches are coming back and better than before. I have a silver membership and still cannot see pictures unless i go into the profile. It seems your site is only set up to show non x-rated photos when doing searches or viewing thumbnail pages. This is extremely dissapointing considering I have paid for the privelage to see these photos and you certainly have verified that I am of age. I don't want to have go into every profile to get an idea as to what the person looks like-this set up is not at all user friendly and there is no reason for it. Please change this.

Additionally, the Zip code search is a joke. When it was first introduced it seemed to work, then only people who lived in cities the site recognizes would show. Now after about a month of it being offline for "maintainence" it produces completed random results that in no way relate to Zip code entered, in other words it is totally useless.

I understand these things take time to fix but I have never seen a paid site so poorly operated and so slow to correct errors. Before I spend another dollar on this site I would like to be provided some assurance that the two issues I have outlined will be corrected and that it will be done sometime this month. I think many other unhappy subscribers are looking for exactly the same information. I hope this post, unlike other posts I have made, is acknowledged. Thank you.

I have been a member of bareback.com for soem time. I liked the "old" Site, with the hiccups it had. I cannot see the advantages in the new site when compared to other gay websites currently available.

I understand the migration from the "old" site to the new one was a painful process, but no real improvement, on the contrary... Sorry to say.

Actually I did respond to the zip code issue for you. The question about XXX images, I don't understand what you want. You can only access images by going to profile to see the images of that member. Are you saying that even then you don't see them?

Not only didn't you not answer my zip code question, you aparently didn't bother to read it. I was asking for any kind of assurance that it would be fixed this month, which might give me a reason to continue my subscription. You semed to have confirmed this is how you intend for profile pics to appear. Why? There are hundreds, even thousands of personals sites that allow you to see XXX profile pics without fully accessing their profile- as a matter of fact the old version of this site allowed this. It seems this as an issue that you deem too costly or not worth fixing, to me it is crucial. Is there any solid reasoning behing this practice or can you just not fix it?

Lastly the customer relation skills you have demonstrated in the response above simply suck. I don't understand why you would respond that way to someone who is clearly frustrated with the service they are paying you for(voluntarily by the way). Would take that much more time or effort to read my questions and actually answer them than it did to reply "Actually.......", wanna give that a try now? Thanks!

As I have said many times, I am not a techie. I am just a bareback enthusiast. I have programmers that build the site and administrators that do the daily work and answer e-mail. The technical stuff I have asked to be addressed to the Contact Us area as I am NOT the best guy to answer that. If you have questions about sex parties, orgies, big dicks in your ass, felching, etc. I am your guy. Otherwise, I just do my very best to answer as many as I can.

I certainly don't have the time, nor should I have to name a thousand sites for you to understand paying members should be able to see x-rated thumbnails and search results without having to access the full profile. But if it helps you to understand any better I'll name 5 competing sites that I myself frequent.....Bnskin, #$%^&*(, Manhunt, Bigmusclebears and Bare4ever......With the exception of Manhunt these are all FREE!

You still have not really answered my question about the pics. I kind of feel like you are either playing dumb at this point or I must really be explaining it poorly. All I am asking is that when I go to pages such as the homepage, or "Newest nasty profile pics", or "Who's online now" that I not be greeted by a page half-full of "XXX" icons. That instead of "XXX" it show the main profile pic of "Who's online now" or of who has posted the "Newest nasty profile pics". Even if that main profile pic happens to be x-rated. Please lets not pretend any further that this is not an understable request or that it is somehow unprecedented on the internet. It makes crusing profiles so much easier, that is the only reason I ask. It really is not a technical question at all, Do you or do not intend for you website to work this way? Will it or will it not be fixed at some point? If not, why? If you dont know perhaps YOU should ask your progammers and let me now.

I understand you get several requests a week, I am not asking for anything special. Just basic functionality as a gay crusing website. The ability to browse members without go into every profile is extremely simple, and frankly should have been available from day 1. It is the main reason I cannot bear to use this site any longer, seconded by the zip code search. The reason I am so persistent with my questions is because I sincerely hope this site becomes what it once was, A site I felt was worth paying for. I don't think I can be any more clear about what that would take.

It would be nice if you would at least acknowledge that my request is a valid one, and then attempt to formulate something resembling a concise answer. If you can't manage that least you could do is to try not get defensive and bithcy. Thanks again.

You are a Silver Member. You should not be seeing ANY xxx thumbnails. If you are logged into the site, those are not there. I don't understand why you are seeing the XXX images being Silver. Yes, members who are not Silver or Gold will see XXX images when the photo is XXX. It will stay that way.

As I have said, we are working on seeing images outside of the profile area. There are many other priorities right now and while we have full time guys, they are working on zip code searches and chat as top priority right now. New modules are added when existing modules are up to snuff.

As for me, it is my time of the month and I am often bitchy. When I think I have answered a question, and someone says I don't, I get bitchy.

You are Silver. If you are seeing XXX images, use the Contact Us button to find out why.

You have made many improvements in the site. When you first revamped the site, it was basically not usseable. There still are a number of things which should be changed. One, I live in the US, and have to toggle down a list of countries that goes on and on, many of which I doubt have much activity (e.g., fiji). Could you make the list possibly by the most frequently used countries?

Then, since I live in Washington, DC, there are 4 different categories for sex now. A bit confusing to say the least. It use to be one area in your old site. Could you please go back to one site for Washington, DC? Relevant when we are permitted only one post.

Hi Michael.

One more time I propose to transform the button "add to Raw Pals" to "remove from raw pals"

It was like that before and it would be a really easy way for us to know that a profile is already in our list!!! Hope to have an answer this time to know why this idea is not possible to realise.

I have not paid into your site yet, I am getting ready to do so, as I find that you are truely devouted to this site and I am sure you have spent many thousands of your personal dollars here.
