Guys are supposed to run through the streets, in roman times, just wearing thongs with bits of hide whips to lash people with for good luck... wish we could revive this quaint festivity!! Also a time to celebrate spring and sow seed... my arse will be open for any donations of seed, cum celebrate!! I know it's also called Brigid's day, a goddess festival converted to a saint?
